Templates

Templates are pre-designed generic web page designs. They are non-exclusive, meaning that other websites could have the same design. I have many that are free with your website design contract from this website. I have many different templates available. This is good if you don't need a high degree of editing and want to save money. I will customize them with your content and make some changes to the graphics (add your name and logo). Just choose from the the CSS/HTML designs offered to you for approval. It saves on labor costs so the savings are passed on to you. If you already own a template then that one can be submitted for customization. I only accept HTML/CSS designs. There is a large selection of low price quality templates available at Template Monster. I have no financial stake in these templates. You can get one at cost to use with your site.

A Template is just a purchased design that can be modified in pretty much any way, including colors and graphics as well as layout (to some extent). I design custom pages to match the design of the main page. It is just a starting point. I have a membership in a design service so there is no cost to my clients if they find a design they like.  Since I'm not a trained artist or designer, it saves time and gives them ideas as well as saving them money. You don't have to register or pay any money unless you decide to join or purchase one for your own use. Templates require PhotoShop to fully modify them. Most developers use them but just don’t tell you. I also have the capability of furnishing any custom design based on anything the client wants. I just charge slightly more because of the time involved.

Some people like to find their own template design first. You can search the web for templates, purchase one, and have it customized and included with your web site if you are considering buying your own template. You must own the template. There can be no copyright or licensing violations. You must submit the HTML and CSS files and not PSD (Photoshop) files for customization.

You pay nothing until your site goes live. If you are not 100% satisfied, then you will only be responsible for my out of pocket costs (hosting and domain name, unless you do that yourself) provided all of my work is removed permanently from your site.
